Enough is Enough: Stop Violence Against Women
More than one woman a week dies from intimate partner violence in Australia.
Stand with us to break the silence and demand safety for every woman.
NO MORE women should die at the hands of someone they once loved.
Last year, 57 Australian women were killed by intimate partner violence — more than one every week. Every woman who has died is one too many.
We must break the silence. We must speak out. We must act.
Uniting Vic.Tas helps women escape violence and rebuild their lives. We provide safe housing and wrap-around services for 12 months after they leave an abusive partner — giving them the chance to adjust, reclaim independence, recover strength, and begin again.
Violence affects women of all ages, but for older women the challenges can be even greater. Many have little or no superannuation, may have suffered financial abuse, or lost their home. That’s why Uniting runs a dedicated program for women over 55 who are rebuilding their lives after violence.
There is no excuse for abuse. Together we CAN stop violence against women. Together we CAN support women to live safe, strong, and happy lives.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
